Am I interpreting this DME readout correctly?
I'm a new 911 enthusiast and looking at purchasing an 06 C2S. I've obtained the DME readout and want to get feedback on my interpretation of the data.
If I’m doing the math correctly, it appears the engine hasbeen over revved as follows:
Thanks in advance for your opinions...
If I’m doing the math correctly, it appears the engine hasbeen over revved as follows:
- ~.5 seconds in range 4 (about 80 hours ago)
- ~1.3 seconds in range 3 (about 60 hours ago)
- ~2.1 seconds in range 2 (in a recent test drive)
- ~38 seconds in range 1 (in recent test drives)
Thanks in advance for your opinions...

It seems this counter system ist very sensitive and produces quite a number of faulty entries.
Did you realize that all entries are in the future - except range 4 at 720 operating hours?
Well, might be a problem...

Very strange. First time I've seen the operating hours counter less than the timestamps for overrevs. I would be very cautious with this car - smells fishy. The seller must have a good story otherwise I'd pass. Perhaps something was swapped with a donor car?
