em battery needed for cop?

To continue my warranty, do I need an OEM battery as I need to replace my battery.

No. IF anything went wrong with the electronics they would haven to prove the battery installed was at fault. I would hope your dealer isn't that cheesy to go that route.

So far I haven't put in a new battery, waiting for the AAA to show up and start the car and check the batter.

May have left the doors unlocked and the search for the key monitor may have dumped the battery, 5 years old.

So if they say I need a battery I'm considering the Bosh with the vent in the correct side etc. for a replacement.
