If you're taking votes, I like the aero bumper much better than the stock one. Looks much more aggressive like what should be on a sports car vs the stock one that has all curves and ovals, but to each their own.

I really like the aero bumper but I'm concerned with damage given my garage angle approach. My car is lowered on H&R springs and I read where it sits 3" lower than the non-aero. It's still my favorite especially without a rear wing

No. It's a picture from a 997 Facebook page where the owner was referring to his garage and whether he could add a lip. His car is not slammed

I plastidipped my front openings a year ago, I prefer the look and it's holding up.

I really like the look and noted the 991 have their vent slats in matte black. I need a front bumper repaint and when I have it done I'll have it painted black.

I like the lip on your car with the GT3 vent. I'm on the fence post whether to get the Aero and install the vent or do like you did with the lip spoiler.

Gonz, thanks! I was on the same boat as you, wanting the aero/GT3 bumper and still do. I did this in the meantime to hold me off, I got a good deal on the lip and ran with it.

On my last 997 I bought a pedal set off ebay and Rennline is such an improvement. All my mods have been subtle as it's such a slippery slope as I learned from my M3. I love the classic lines of the 997 and appreciate the last of its kind prior to the 991. I still look at the next generation and I'm in awe, but this one is a 'keeper'.

I'm with you on the power thing as I miss the boost I had on my M3, but it's really a matter of usability - for me it was good to know I just had it. I explored this now several times with my former 997 non-S and my 997S. I'm actually quite happy with it. My independent Porsche shop provisionally persuaded me against the IPD Plenum and GT3 throttle body as the costower proposition isn't there. I understand the argument.

Anyway, for aesthetics, consider the 997 Cup S rear bumper which pairs IMO nicely with the GT3/Aero Bumper and reminiscent of the 991R-look - from Getty Design.

It's on my list more so than the front, although I'm still trying to decide on that. Not a fan of a rear fixed wing on the 997.

We have similar tastes, as I don't want a wing and would either like a GT3 or cup style rear bumper.
