My 997.1 Carrera S Makeover
#32
I think I'm going to go the route of Work Meister S1 3P wheels. Now I have to determine the best size (assuming 11") ET, and determine if there's any issue with not running a center cap long term? Separate post.

This car look perfect, I like the clean look without rear wing on regular 911.

My personal opinion but those wheels do NOT look classy on a 911 whatsover even anything, they are early 2000's era kind of wheels like when the MMR's were so popular with the big chrome lip. Also 20's on a 997 look a bit big, 19's are a perfect balance. Here is a pic of mine with 19's
Thats just my opinion.

Make sure u have the right center radiator.
Normal 997 center radiator vents from the bottom. The cutoff needs to be under the car....so no need for smiley on top.
To make the smiley functional, u need the gt3 center radiator, which vents from top.
Car looks great.
Get the wheels u like

Thanks for the tip. I'm now living in OKC which isn't as hot, although I plan on moving back to HOT San Antonio - love it there. Wheels will be 19" - I thought about it and not going that route again. They lasted 3 months by the time I decided to sell them and revert to 19".
