997 build cost

I was wondering how much it would cost to build a 997 I'm talking all forged internals, probably looking at a 900hp goal. If anyone could give me a estimate I would appreciate it. Thanks

Although it's probably not the answer you're looking for, your post did conger up memories of my first experience with "modifying" a basically potent factory stock car.

A year after having bought my brand new 1969 Z/28 Camaro (God I loved that car!), I drove it to a then very well known Pro Stock racer and basically asked the same question you did. He then pointed me to a fairly large sign within the shop that said "Speed Costs, How Fast Do You Want To Go?".

Enough said...

turbo, n/a, supercharged,? your budget? if $$ is abundant... get a 918. otherwise it will cost as much as the car. plus installation and don't forget taxes.

plus what Astur said.... how fast you wanna go depends on how deep is your wallet.

If you want 900HP, just buy a different car. That's just not what a 911 is about. You could try a renegade LS1 swap and maybe get close if you through in a supercharger but you'd never get your $ back.

No money can be able to get your internal rods to push up to 900 hp without severe damage on any regular 997. Your best bet is buy 997.1TT and upgrade from there.

Take a peek in the 996 and 997 turbo boards. That is where you belong friend! Bring your wallet.

Better off buying a TT and modifying it - plenty out there - just check with EVOMS. But even then, bring a big BUDGET
