Find a 997.2 MT. Awesome engine! Best Porsche I've ever owned There is no loss of character in a .2 I can assure you.

First gen PDK is not that impressive in terms of quick shifting. If you've driven a 981/991 with PDK you'll know what I mean. .2 has many advantages over the .1. Performance and much better electronics. Car has better balance too. ONLY downsides are the engine noise isn't as good, and the engine sits lower in the frame so there's more chance to scrape it over bumps.

Every 997 PDK I've ever driven. Same for 987s. The 981/991 is lightning fast comparatively. My point is go 6 speed in a 997. I mean it's ok, but once you've driven a 981/991 PDK it's hard to enjoy the 997 PDK.

Looked at a 2006 C2S 6 speed last week. Had PPI done today and the tech did not like the leak down percentages. Said to walk away. I took his advice.
