According to the EVO website, the Supercharged S has 5 more HP. The results on their website are quite similiar to the ones from the video.

Supercharged 997:
11.87 @ 121.98 MPH (1.97 60')

Supercharged 997s:
11.77 @ 122.98 MPH

The evo 997 numbers on the site are corrected. It did not break into the 11's uncorrected unless it happened in this outing in the video.

I believe there is a typo on the evo site regarding the 997s supercharger as it makes 450 wheel vs. 415 so it should be at 500 hp at the crank not 470 hp.

Also, the numbers given for the carrera S in the 1/4 mile seem to be estimates based of the 997 performance.

11.85 + 30hp = Another reason not to wait for the 997turbo.

Any idea if the SC will work with a automatic gearbox?

Not true, it was only 65 yesterday. Pretty good conditions actually with the exception that we have very low humidity.

Pulls hard, very good,

turbo power with narrow body, my dream, and it looks to0 good when you open the hood instead of all the parts hiding the motor on turbos. Molded plastic tubes makes the S/C looking like oem stuff which is pretty good.

I couldn't exactly tell guys....what was the indicated trap speed on that 11.85 run ? It's looked to me to be either 120.4 or 120.9...couldn't tell...

And that was the basic EVO SC kit on the 997 C2 3.6L for the record. Pretty nice @ 415RWHP.

Was the GT800's run an average run? It looked like it got a terrible start based on the 60' time and the trap speed of only 109. What gives?
