Had a PASM fault this spring after bringing the car out of the garage for the winter. Never got around to fixing it since I hardly ever drive the car. I know, unfortunate. Dang kids are getting bigger and so are their gear bags.

Anyway, trying to get this addressed. Durametric was directed to the rear shocks so I replaced those but I'm still getting the PASM fault. Durametric is showing 000F RR shock absorber valve.

The fault goes away when you turn off the car but comes back as soon so you roll it forward a few feet. I've checked the connections and everything looks good.

Any ideas?

 

If any of the shock wires are damaged or connected backwards the PASM won't work, but I also think that doesn't throw a code, just defaults the shocks to full stiff.

 

The shocks are new and the wires appear to be in good shape. I've tried reversing the connection and that didn't work either. I tried a known good shock and that didn't work either.

I think the problem is on the other side of the connector.
