997 Cargraphics Exhaust Issues

Hey guys, need some help. Got the Cargraphics exhaust for my 997.1 and noticed that the brackets that attach from the fram to the fender did not come with my kit. Cargraphics says the system no longer comes with brackets and to use existing brackets. So i used the existing brackets by swapping the side which seem to fit but are touch the exhaust which I think is causing vibration and a low resonance level which is very similar to drone. When idle it is giving a headache.

Any one have had this issue with the brackets?

That needs to be corrected one way or another as not only will it make a terrible rattly sound, but it will wear a hole in your muffler. You don't need a lot of clearance, just clearance. Can you bend the bar away from the muffler with a pry bar or something.

I don’t know if this helps, this is the complete Cargraphic exhaust.

Thanks,

Bend the bar or loosen the triangular muffler bracket and slide the muffler away from the bar. You may need to readjust the pipe connections afterwards to realign the tips with the bumper openings.

If you're hearing drone, it's most likely the exhaust sound characteristic rather than the bracket and muffler contact. I would imagine that would sound more like a pinging than drone. I could be wrong.
