Looking for a reputable shop on Long Island to perform a Gundo Hack on my 2005 base Carrera. Anyone have one done and is happy with the sound?

Man, just spend the couple of hundred extra and get ones that are properly done by Darren Fister. Fister D Sports exhaust

 

i have fabspeed mufflers for sale on the classifieds...but your best bet is to take out mufflers yourself and then take them to a muffler shop with pics so u dont pay the porsche tax...

 

I found that if I asked the shops had a plasma cutter that made the search easier. A lot of the run of the mill muffler shops didn't have one and therefore did not want to venture doing that work. At least in my area of the country.

Take the cans off yourself. I was hesitant at first but it wasn't very difficult.
