I have seen a few posts and questions from potential porsche buyers (mainly on facebook asking which car is best the 997 or 991.

Since I have owned both the 991 & 997 I thought I would make a video on my experience, so if you have a spare 17 minutes please come along for the ride as i explain which car i prefer and why.

 

I like the video, nice GT3 front end for the 991. You could make it look like 991R (LOL), as 997 owner, I am a bit biased but 997 is the best in Carrera line up. However, we are not included GT3, Turbo, RS models.

Fantastic video! Very well done review, cinema, content, etc. Love it, many thanks- and I agree. I would say that the same can be said of almost any two consecutive models: the older version is always more analog. Doesn't necessarily mean less than. I had an '87 3.2 and an '05 C2S, and the '87 was more involved, but too much work, and preferred the 997- not to mention the necessity of air conditioning in ATL.

Great video for those that are on the fence. Also liked the music and the dials were spot on with your exterior. I to chose another 997.2 over the newer 991 or even the new .2s. And the manual trans is a must have...for me.

 

I feel like leaving work early and going for a drive in my 997.1.

Car has been too much of a garage queen all winter...
