$620. A little more than 50% was labor. They had to remove the front bumper to glue them in. They also required a lot of trimming.

Valid point. This is all I'm doing for the reasons you stated. These were not installed all for looks; they are functional. I already have large dings in my radiator from road debris. The front bumper design and air intakes cause the car to scoop-up a lot of road crap, like cigarette butts and leaves. The grills are tight enough to keep this out and protect the radiator from being damaged. Most cars come with a plastic cover over the front grill. However, cars with the X51 and tiptronic do not, so the radiator is exposed. Lastly, these are removeable.
