Approximately what price should I anticipate to change a water pump on a 997.2 3.8 engine at a Porsche dealership?

I payed $900 however I had an 02 sensor replaced at the same time. I supplied the 02 sensor. Replaced at 47k. I have a 997.1S. Idk if that makes a difference since yours is newer.

Mine went right around 40K miles on my -09 C4S. It seized up so the serpentine belt shattered too. Total cost for all that came to around $1,500 or slightly higher as I recall it. Sold the car so I don't have the receipts anymore. Dealer told me 40K to 50K miles is not unusual for the 997 water pumps to go. That said, 57K miles on my current GTS with the original pump.

Of course. Should have added that these failures are covered by warranties if you have any.
