icarsoft por 11
After watching Americanpupusa's video on resetting his oil service reminder with the Icarsoft por 11 I decided to try one.
I ordered it from Amazon for $149.00 and received it the next day. I glanced at the instruction manual but gave up on it immediately. Too much superfluous info. I just watched a couple of you tube videos and dived in.
It is extremely easy. Just follow the on screen steps. No computer required. It took me 5 to 10 minutes.
However, it appears that if it needs the firmware updated a computer will be needed and it may get more complicated. It also doses quite a bit more than oil service lights but I didn't go into that. Unlike the entry level Durametric, it can be used on countless cars.
I did it on the 911 and will try on the Macan S next.

i have noticed one odd thing. After resetting the oil light in the macan, the clock reverted to CST. I then went and looked at the clock in the 911 and it had changed by 3 hours and some odd minutes. No big deal, just odd.
