This has prob been gone over a ton in the past. I have searched the forum and mostly find where the sensor has triggered a CEL.

I do not have a CEL currently. The oil temp gauge was reading low, then bounces up to normal, then shuts off. Its sporadic at time but the last two days it has just stopped working.

I am assuming this is the level / temp sensor under the manifold which needs replacing. Would I be correct or is there another issues I may be running into here? The strange part is that its reading the oil level correctly so the despite being a combined unit, they read independently.
