Voice control retrofit on 997.2
Voice control retrofit on 997.2
Hello
I am currrently finding out what part I have to buy to retrofit the Voice Control feature on my 997.2 with PCM 3.0 and Bose sound system.
But I am a little bit confusing with the stalk I will have to replace. Is it the lower left one as the 9976132670001C part ? Or the upper left one as shown on suncoast website https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/PCM30VOICE.html which is the kit 99704490236?
other question, will I have to replace the harness ? I already looked at this thread https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-09-997-a.html but it is old and I can't find exactly what to do.
I really need some help for that, thanks to all knows how to do.

There are two photos shown there and the stalk is the lower "function" stalk (9976132670001C) that's in second photo. If you have Nav and Bluetooth phone already installed, then it should be fairly easy - I believe you need the phone option; seems like the same microphones used for phone calls are used for voice control. And you need Nav because it's required.
No idea otherwise what you will need to do to install it. I don't think you will need to change out the harness. I had it added to my car (dealer did it) and other than being a bit expensive, it didn't seem like it was a bid deal for them - has to be programmed to the car though.
