997 Targa 4S vs C43 AMG Estate

I know that this may come across as an unlikely debate but I have been on the merry go round of sports cars for 5 years. Living in snow country I have owned or leased BMW440M, Audi RS3/RS5 and lately a 2019 C43AMG wagon. But I can’t get the Targa 4S out of my mind and can own one for the same monthly budget as the C43. I played with Zperf and the numbers are awfully close. Planning to go test drive the 4S by end of week.
The deal would be to move from one single car C43 to a Targa 4S and a beat up CRV for the very bad days or family ski trips. I do plan to DD the Targa in winter when roads are « clean ».
Anybody has any opinion to share? Stupid idea or « mate you should have done that years ago »?

"Stupid idea or « mate you should have done that years ago »". That's my answer for what it's worth. Once you get the Targa 4S I doubt you'll be spending much time in any other car in your garage.

A 997 Targa is a wonderful vehicle to have...but I'm a sucker for a nice wagon. Tough choice.
