is it possible to use the 17mm spacers on the rear of a 997S?

 

Depends. In the above pics, I show the 17mm spacer on the rear hub. The bolt pattern is the same as the 996 so the 17mm kit works. If you put this much spacer on with stock rubber, I think it will probably hit the rear fender on bumps - I think this is why some people 'roll' their fenders to accomodate the wider track.

 

DO you have a good source for the Tequipment 5mm spacers?...my local dealer is asking $450 for them...
