Modifying a front lip spoiler

I have a '11 Speedster that doesn't have the front lip spoiler. Looking on the internet for the spoiler and see that Suncoast has it for $715 and FCP has one for $195, that looks like it would fit. Come to find out, that lip only fits the 996 4s.
My question is that looking at the picture it looks exactly what I need except it would need to be painted, can a body shop modify the spoiler to fit and still look correct?

Just trying to keep the vehicle stock and yes the lip spoiler does help keep the front glued to the ground.

These two look completely different to me.

I guess you do a fair amount of track time. Can't imagine that the lip spoiler would make a noticeable difference for regular street driving.

"Having a bumper lip on your front bumper helps reduce airflow under the vehicle. This can help with fuel economy by decreasing drag."
I can't drive a Porsche knowing that its missing a piece, that's just me. Everything has got to be there and for the next guy wanting this type of Porsche will want it to be a complete car.

Just decided to purchase a stock piece.
