My understanding was that the 996 B&M SSK is compatible with all 997's.

Porsche has a factory option for these...usually runs about $600. Talk to Tom@Brandywine.

TechArt makes makes a shortshift kit that fits all the 997s. $689 and you can get it from CEC. www.cecwheels.com and there is even a link and a price guide on their site for all the TechArt Items available.

I installed the Porsche OEM shifter a while back and I love it.
It was easy to do, took me about 45 min. ( remove console, unbolt original shifter assembly and install new one )
It is available from Brandywine Porsche for $ 399 .
