Just something to think about. I think if you saw it in person you may reconsider.

Where do you get 10k

Leather Interior to Sample=
$5,115

But you have to order a car and become a waiter.

Funny, the first thumbail I saw was the second, and I thought it was an S2000!

well im glad you have the final say

perhaps all should consult with you before buying.

The seats are Recaros, just like Porsche uses sir.

So what year did YOU decide that red was no longer appropriate?

Anyways...

Good to know that theres always someone out there that knows everything about everything.

Wonder why BMW offers chrome on their M3 standard? Wonder why Porsche offered chrome on their 993 turbo, factory....So for this model year Porsche doesnt offer it standard and all of a sudden theres a manddate that chrome doesnt belong?

Thats funny

Add to the $5K the full leather option and start adding up the color deleted carpet, dash etc etc to get it your way and youll see how much it is.

Then as you say factor in the wait time.

Except his seats saved him 120 pounds over the stockers.

To each his own, no doubt those seats look comfortable.
Not a fan of polished/chrome Porsche wheels; awhile back I passed up a great deal on a 2004 40th Anniversary powerkit 996, the polished Carrera II wheels don't do it for me, I would've had to paint them metallic silver .

Black/terra, if you post pics of an unusual equipment combination-- same as with your donnybrook which was deleted on Rennlist-- don't be surprised & angry if people post critical remarks-- same thing will happen on ANY of the web forums. It's the INTERNET!!....honest opinions are what it's about.

Look at just about any post on somebody's freshly installed aftermarket wheels: not everybody likes the same things, thank God for that.
The replies will run the gamut from high praise to comparisons with cheese graters or Don King's jewelry.

Have a good Memorial Day- salute our service members and veterans.

The $5115 is "Full Leather" in the color of your choice.

The seats are Recaros, just like Porsche uses sir.
Recaro is no longer the OEM supplier of seats for the 997/987
Lear is now the OEM Supplier

Why do you say that? I would imagine losing power and heated seats would certainly shed a few unwanted pounds.

banned forum?

why do you keep saying that? You treat forims like a reality TV show not missing an episode. I would think youd want to make this a more welcoming place than the other but I see you want to pick and pick with the hopes I get banned here?

Do you dislike me fo a particular reason?

I came here to talk porsche, you want to talk about everything else negative.

These seats are indeed 120 pounds lighter without question, so much lighter that I'm not sure even how to send the other seats if I were to sell them. It takes two people to carry an OEM seat.

as for BMW M3 E46....

heres a quick example...

Did you change out the back seats as well or are those still black?

That E46 has aftermarket chrome on the stock wheels, that's not standard.

the back seats will be gutted entirely for a subwoofer box for two JL Audio

10w7's. It will be fiberglass laid and be down in the seatwells.

hey C4, can you say one more time that

I was banned at Rennlist.

Im sure everyone here wants to hear about how I stood up to a cancerous member over there and got banned.

If anyone wants to read the posts that led up to the banning the can clearly see.

Thanks for using every opportunity you can to bring it up.

I am sorry, but arent you going to gain back the weight by building a massive box in the backseat?
