Targarific !

Don't let the German license plates fool you - these Porsche Targa S pictures were taken on public roads in the great state of California, USA!
Father and son, Daniel and Edward Allen, were motoring down some country roads when they stumbled upon a photo shoot for either a future brochure, or possible advertising campaign, and they each took one shot of the Targa with their camera. Dad (Daniel) shot the rear view, and Ed took the front photo.
Totally uncamouflaged and even sporting badges, these are the "cleanest" Targa pictures that we've seen to date. And, to top it off, what could be better than a father and son "bonding" story - especially when it involves a Porsche?
Exterior modifications over the coupe include a sharp-edged rear side-window plus the panoramic transparent roof which slides back over the rear window on the push of a button. It’s more than likely that the Targa will be available as a Carrera 4 and 2 as well as the Targa S pictured here.

it's different, but i don't see the point in getting one when the coupe with a sunroof is practically the same, and quicker too.

Oh man...that Targa 4S is really wondeful...I'm amazed of!!
Really beautiful aluminium board from front to back...gives the Targa a luxurious touch...

DJ, it's only going to be available in targa 4 and targa 4 S. So no narrow bodied targa.

I'll probably trading in the Cayman for it. There's also some talk of a unique colour for the targa, some sort of gold/brownish colour only available initially on the targa.

Darker color to show the chrome window trim will look really good.
