I think something changed in my 997S

i have the factory ssk and it's always a bit ... tough to shift through gears. First is VERY hard especially when it's cold. 2nd and 3rd are bit rough, 4th to 6th are fairly ok. So I was driving it this past weekend and I think something happened. It's not progressive, it's just suddently a change.

Now every gear shifts like as if I'm cutting butter. I can literally shift w/ 2 fingers, every gear. Can anyone explain this sudden change? I suspect that it's because my driving skillz increased overnight.

Just kidding about the skillz thing

wonder it's a break in type of thing. my SS is only tough during cold temp and only for 1st gear. but i have noticed as car is reaching 2k miles, it may have gotten gradually better. as puzzle as your case may seem, it's a good thing.

I don'y have ssk but sometimes it feels like cutting butter while at most times it feels like cutting iron. Am I the only one with this issue?

I had a tough time getting into first on a few occasions during break in. Now I have about 3400 miles and haven't had any issues with shifting.

stop driving your car while eating biscuits and butter, then try the shifter.
