Break In Question. 1 redline isnt going to mess everything up is it?
I have been following the breakin procedure for all of 100 miles since I picked my new car up. I let my friend drive the car once and he proceeded to accelerate all the way through 1st gear.
That's not going to ruin the seals or do any damage is it? I hit him upside the head after he did that.

First, did you tell him about the 4200 rpm limit? If not, someone else deserves a smack in the head. If you did, he deserves an *** whipping and being forever banned from riding in the car. Anyhow, this guys says you're okay: http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm
You must have a lot of money. Break in is so very important on a new car. I would not let "friends" drive my GT3, PERIOD! Let them drive their own damn car and tear it up, not yours.
one indescretion should not have screwed up the engine. You don't see blue smoke when you accelerate from a standing position, do you?

If Porsche puts 100k miles spanning every temperature (from Antarctica to Death Valley) without break-in before releasing any new model to the public, I wouldn't worry about a red-line or two after 100 miles (or 1 miles for that matter).
Famous break-in subject. There will never be a consensus on it. You should not worry. In my country we are advised to step on it once the tires and brakes are all settled in. I personally apply a step-by-step method and all set in the first 500 km. All my cars have been noticably faster and reliable all their lives.
i don't think your car is going to fall apart from that. i always wonder those who pick up their cars through european delivery would have problems. i have heard many of them pushed the car real hard while in europe.
my friend bought the first few M3 SMG back in 2001. non of us knew how to drive it properly (including the dealer). he would always forget to shift and let the car go through the redline. we are talking once a day. the car lived for 3 years without any problems until he sold it.
