Cams in 997s

I am thinking to upgrade my car with more aggresive cams,what do you think guys?I saw the most tuners manthey-techart-cargraphic doesnt have any kit with another cams but the x51 from porsche has..why?

Why cams versus, other options? Supercharger for example. Just curious.

IMO, cams would be a 'safer' upgrade personally .. superchargers puts unwanted stress on the engine (especially in weather like Kuwait).

I agree with you ......especially when the weather in greece is similar with kuwait.My only question is why the most tuners doesnt have any cams in their kit...form what i am hear from a member here must be crazy upgrade

Kali sou mera..I dont know about FVD,but it seems strange why tuners like manthey,cargraphic or techart doesnt offer something

Yea, I don't see anyone producing a cam for supercharged cars (unless EVO or TPC or RUF make one for their kits...).

For an engine that started life without FI. Cams certainly are the safe way to go.

I suppose around 12bhp...with full exchaust+filter+ECU you can take around 45-50bhp at the crank...exactly what i want
