A few dealers that I've talked to have pool cars and I didn't want to sound stupid asking them what that refers to so I thought I would sound stupid in front of millions of people

A pool car is an extra allotment of Porsches built to give to dealers that excel in sales and SSI(Sales Satisfaction Index) The more sales and higher SSI score you have the more pool cars you get. Nothing to do with loaner cars or executive cars. The program is actually set up in a pretty fair way from what I have seen. Although im sure dealers like champion can get whatever they want.....

 

"Pool Cars" are cars that are distributed to dealers, are over and above their allocations. Not part of the normal allocation system.

"Brass Hat" cars are Factory executive cars...never titled that have mileage but get a full warrantee.
