holy crap...tell me this one has been riced up

and is not stock???

Nobody can get it right...AMG has all the power, no handling. BMW has the handling but now tons of weight and iffy SMG gimmicks. Porsche delivers the powertrain and screws up the body. Looks like some Subaru/Mitsubishi off roader thinggy.

BD, this is just a passive reciever for more privacy. I do agree that it's ugly though, the 996's was alot better looking and fitting than this one.

The performance of 997TT outweights the mediocre looks IMO. It's still a great car. Replacing front and rear bumper with some aerokit should do the trick. I'd not sweat it...

I think all of the improvements with the engine, suspension, technology, etc outweighs the bland looks as djantlive mentioned.. The power of the engine certainly makes up for it and probably the handling is a light year advance compared to the 996TT.. Remember how people raved about the 997S compared to the 996TT and how a member or some members here purchased the 997S over the 996TT.. Just think of this in terms of that but with steroids.. LOL!

Besides, if you don't like the exterior or how it looks, that's why Arling of LUCENT is there.. Hahaha! I'm sure he'll take care of ya!
