Classic pic, reality check in terms of pricing, some of our wheels on this forum costs more than BOTH of those cars haha. Imagine wheels 50 years in the future that cost as much as our cars today. Impossible you say, we'll see haha

I can't see a "Speedster" script on it, but the windshield looks lower than a 356 Cabrio. My dad had an original 356C (in a pastel yellow - it looked great) and a Speedster (BRG) when I was growing up.

I emailed the pic to my Porsche manager where I have bought 2 Porsches from over the years and he replied:
The Information is way off. The VW price was right for the 1956 car but the 1956 356 cabriolet was only $2300.00 .
(Note: this was three years before I started working for them). ...
