997 fabspeed bypass pipes

I have a 06 997S and was looking to make it louder. Anyone familiar with the fabspeed bypass pipes, how much, any performance gain, warranty issues, any issues atall besides for maybe being to loud... How quick and easy is the install?

I have the fabspeed cat bypass and I like the sound the muffler now makes.

The downside right now is my CEL is on.

Fabspeed has 2 bypass: the muffler and cats.

And yes, the muffler bypass means you're just running straight pipe... I imagin e that will be alot louder compared to the cat bypass...

I have no idea about that, but from researching I don't think people mention about CEL when they're running muffler bypass pipes...

As long as you don't mess with the cat. sensors , it should be OK .

Hey Shawn,
How have you been?? We do not use GIAC, we do our own tuning! With the mods you have with our programing you are looking at right around 400BHP!!!! We just recently broke the codes to get 400HP out of the 997S instead of the 381HP most tuners (including us) were stuck at! You will keep your factory driveablility and reliablility and you also have the option to have us program a new ECU so you can keep your stock one STOCK (for warranty or for when you sell the car!).
Come on in some time if your in the area bud!
Evan

Went to Speed Gallery today and asked about the bypass pipes. they told me that you actually lose some low end power with those due to the loss of back pressure. anyone familiar with this?

Yes that would be true with most engines but the power lose is not much and in the very low rpms at around 1500-2500 from the graphs I've seen.
