You bet. Both will cut you a great deal on a car, and treat you like a champ.

I've had the same A**hole experiences here in NY. Their arrogance makes me want to back slap them. These guys knew nothing about financing and covered it up with a hearty dose of a**holeness (new word).

Roger Woods at Hoehn Porsche

I have been very happy with Roger Woods at Hoehn Porsche in Carlsbad. Roger is knowledgable and easy to deal with throughout your purchase. Tell him Mike Supancich referred you. Please note I have purchased a number of Porsche's over the years. The worst dealership I have ever dealt with is Beverly Hills Porsche.

You can probably add Rusnak Westlake. They straight up tried to pad the Porsche lease buy rate by 1% and then denied it down the line even after I showed them the rate schedule from another dealer. Dealer's have incentives to put people in Porsche Financing, don't let any dealer tell you otherwise. They have full discretion over those rates.

These places will never see my face or my money again.
I actually had a pretty good experience with BH Porsche. I went there looking for an Audi and told him upfront that's what I was there for. The Porsche salesman was a pretty stand up guy, although he had just started working there. Early in the morning and no one really there including the Audi salesman so we just BS'd about Porsche's for about half an hour. Even went to the trouble to go look at the inventory in their garage across the street to find an Atlas Grey car since I had said I'd never seen one before and heard it looked gorgeous. I'd give you his name if I were able to find his business card.

No, that wasn't it. He seemed mid to late 30s. And the name doesn't ring a bell.

The service manager at my local dealer once asked why I keep going to another state to buy my Porsches. I thought I was going to get the old "Sorry you didn't buy it here so go screw" but when I explained that I have attempted each time to do business with his sales department and each time they treated me like a moron (a second class moron, that is) he then shook his head and said he completely understands and agrees.

Russell Philpott (sp?). That's what his name was.

Treat them well from the get go and they will treat you well back. Never had a problem getting good service from the sales guys or discounts.

They may be a*holes, but how are you treating them to start with?

Thanks for all of the suggestions. And thanks to all of you who left those anonymous insults in my rep area. From reading many of them it is obvious they are from the sales rep contingent on this board and just goes to prove the point I was making. Sad.

I love the unsigned negative rep I got for this post.

That's why he was OK - he hadn't been working there for long.
Give him a couple more months...

A-hole or just plain stupid?

First Time Porsche Buyer walks into dealer 1:

Dealer 1 - interviewed me and the type of driving I would want to do. Showed me around the dealership to all sorts of different combinations of color and accoutrements. He made many recommendations and kept me away from over-ordering different finishes. He also led me through the maze of option codes.

First Time Porsche Buyer walks into dealer 2:

Dealer 2 - turns to his computer and pulls up the www.porsche.com online configurator

Who do you think I ordered from?

Alex Tofolovic at Newport Beach Audi/Porsche made the sale on ours. I'd highly recommend him, but he no longer works there.

But i know what you mean, the salesman helping us before Alex just didn't take us seriously. sucks to be him.

Here in the Tampa area every single dealer has been awesome. I bought my C2S from Henry Rivera at Reeves in Tampa. Dave Wilson at Suncoast in Sarasota is also a very good guy.
