I think you would be able to .. it would be the same as the stereo. (I just don't think they have released one for Non-US cars yet).

Yes, I have the Nav-TV unit. Hooked up to my iPod and can control the iPod software using the buttons on the multi-function steering wheel.

Mind you, the Nav-TV software is a little buggy.

Indeed, that's why we have the group buy awaiting the Dension unit.

I don't know if this will help you guys but in looked interesting. Inexpensive way to connect an Ipod to stock stereo.

Yes. Most dealers should be able to (if willing) handle it.

NavTV

Couldn't wait any longer for Denison for the Cayenne - tossed it in yesterday - its not as polished as I had hoped but at least its working acceptably well.

Will love to see the Denison unit interface to see how much it actually varies.

Interfacing through the CD Changer offers limited functionality from a designer's standpoint I imagine.

If anyone has the NavTV unit, can you tell me whether it will advance a song via one button, or do I have to go back through the Track List to select the next tune..... (OK, I can go read the instruction book too, but this is more fun).

Actually .. the Dension Gateway 500 iPod adapter is now out and for sale (different from Erics Group buy).

You can find more info here: http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforum...d.php?t=322234
And you can get it here: http://www.maxcount.de/

Someone on Rennlist is organizing a group buy on this part.. I will probably jump on it after seeing how hard/easy the install is.

Thanks - that was REALLY informative stuff! I will continue to play with this NavTV unit which seems to be somewhat inferior to the Gateway 500 (Eric did state that he is actually GBing the 500 unit).

Actually, the Group Buy IS that Dension unit. The Dice pics were from some older testing of accessories.

We should have the Dension units in a matter of weeks (not yet released for US)....CES is delaying everything for a week or two.
