997 TT Wheels - did I make a mistake?
I was excited to put the first set of the new 997 TT wheels sold in the U.S. on my new C4s Cab. It's not that I don't like the wheels, but here is the problem. Porsche elected to paint the inner wheels a dark grey color. This looks great on every color but black. I have a basalt black C4s. I really didn't realize I had a problem until I put the wheels on the car. It looks like a mis-match. Besides the color, the wheel design is actually really nice.
So, now what do I do? Friends are telling me to have the wheels chromed and they will look great! It will dramatically change the look of the wheel. It could actually look really nice. Option 2 is painting the inner wheel basalt black to match the car. Option 3 is to sell the wheels and start over. I only have 500 miles on the wheels.
What would you do?

I'd go with option two and paint the inner spokes in matching Basalt Black. I love how these wheels look on your carrera and it'll be a shame if you got rid of them. Heck, even the factory took one look at your car and decided to make these an option.

I think it looks NICE actually, but those wheels in general, the star wheels...just doesnt do any Porsche justice. Its a preference, but I never understood how Porsche came up with these wheels on cars that cost $130k and up.
