Getting the chip mod...

By itself, is it worth the dough? I guess it adds 10hp and 10 torque. Can you really feel that?

Thanks. finn

it has been discussed many times, chip in a normally aspirated car is hardly noticeable. maybe you will get better gas mileage? if you get an intake or exhaust at least you get a better sounding car.

getting a GIAC and changing your filter to a flat panel K&N and then a champion exhaust you WILL feel a difference above 5000 rpm... my friend did this combo on his 997 and it is quicker.

I read something the other day in one of the porsche forums: spend money on track driving lessons, and learn to get more out of your car... not to mention that you get to keep those driving skills for life, unlike any mods. you'd do to your car :-)

No... it looks stock though... he used the factory rectangle tips... sounds is definitely different... loud and unique... champion exhausts do not sounds like PSE at all... different but good; very sporty... a new sound for a porsche that fits the image quite nicely.
