'06 or '07 997S

Current lease is up and decided on a 997S. Visited several dealers in the area and there are "QUITE A FEW" '06 leftovers. Delaers are aggressive in the discounting. (Did not know there is a least 10-12K markup in the MSRP of the 997S over DEALER invoice) Car I am looking at stickers at $90,370.(Dealer invoice $79,112)
What should I offer? Should i deal for an '07 since residual is probably higher?

Thanks, Chris

If you can find the color/option you are looking for in 06, then go for it.
but if u r getting a lease, take a look side by side similar option car which has better lease rates etc and go from there.

Do you turn you leases in or sell them outright before the lease is up?

If you sell them outright 06' over 07'. The reasoning is that you will have a low milage 06' instead of a high milage 07'.

Good luck!

Yeah great if you want a two year old car and are not leasing. I agree if its for a business expense, such as in my case, you are better of getting new. Residuals are at its highest when they are new and the more equipment the vehicle has. It is really a toss up ownership vs business expense (lease).

Where are you located? Are you a private party selling or a dealer?
