i agree. the speedo is off on most porsches. 4 mph on my 996 and it was off about 4mph on the boxster. however, it's close enough for what we're trying to accomplish here.

the CEL reader/clearer and sensor reading software is worth the purchase alone. i'll admit i've only played with the performance software a bit because i don't know what to plug in for all the variables (gear ratios, etc) ... seems like it should at least get you as close a reading as possible for under $200 and you can datalog the sensor readings while you do it.

Where can you get it for $ 150 ?

i thought it used to be $200. we had a group buy on here and rennlist a while back. i think 30 or so people ending up buying them. i could be wrong but it looks like the price went up. it's still worth it for clearing cels and checking sensors. not to mention you turbo guys can allegedly monitor/data log AF and boost with this due to the extra sensors in the turbo cars. we don't even get AF. i had to add that to my 996....
