why is white worse resale?
I've a white 997 and you can see a disparity in the color from the plastic bumpers, rear wing, roof rails, stone guards etc to the metal parts of the car. The metal is normal carrara white and all the plasitic areas have a yellowish hue; my car is brand new I can already see it, imagine what it will look like in 5 years
. Perhaps this is another reason white doesn't hold its value quite as well.

White has got to be the one of the best colors-
In So Cal- EVERYONE HAS A SILVER CAR.. Talk about seeing yourself coming and going.....
Our GT2 is white and it just looks PISSED OFF!
I guess its all about the motorsports

As per my wife when I ordered my '05 NSX, white cars are too "bland". I think it looks clean, but her perception was that nothing about the color stood out. You'll have people comment on certain colors - "that's a great shade of red" or "i had a ___ that same color silver when I was younger", but white... most can't tell the difference between solid and pearlcoats; it looks the same to them.

Porsche would probably ok to get the plastic parts re-sprayed. It appears Porsche is not prepping the plastic areas as well as it should prior to painting.

But the re-sale for white cars, might be hard in Belgium because of this .. over here grey and back are the most comon colors ... (but I like my white Pcar
