i talked to the guy who's car I have done 3 times and he said he did not have to declare it. He just had to provide recite that it was put on the car and that was it. I think it might be different from company to company. My insurance company didn't care about the wheels i put on my cayenne S when i called them. They said to take pix and keep reciete.

I can ask my insurance agent and/or my distributor if they know how they have dealt with something like this in the past.
