Clear bra is getting so expensive these days. 2-3 years ago, it was only 500-600 for a precut kit. Now, it's 1k-1200 for the same kit. I have it and like it a lot. However, it's getting to the point that you can repaint the front 2x for the money you spend on it. If you ever get bumped in front, you'll spend money replacing bumper cover and a new bra which insurance won't pay.

Tanthony PM sent.

djantlive,
why won't insurance pay for it. I had one guy who got it his car redone due to accident 3 times so far and each time the insurance paid for it.

Let me know if I can help on this matter.

Same guys you are right. The trouble with them being so close to us is that cars end up here and then there and visa versa

Premier is the only company I'd use no matter the wait. If you want a cheap hackjob, go with Clear Armour. I still have nightmares after having it done by them a few years back. You get what you pay for.

woah

Clear armor, what kind of problems did you encounter. I was going to use them since I cant go with Premier. I have to get the car done before the next week. I will be driving 400 miles and i figured that as long as they did not screw up the car, it would probably help the paint.

Hi Raja
Do you have to declare this to insurance ahead of time? Since this is aftermarket item just like a set of non-OEM wheels, I assumed insurance will not cover. I still have my 2 yr old clear bra that premiere installed. It's still like new as I don't leave it out in sun very much and always hand wash.
