They're not light, but probably no heavier than your stock wheels, and maybe even a little lighter. If you like the look of 'em, get 'em.

I don't think this is the fairest assesment. I owned a set and they definately weigh too much. They seriously affect the driving performance. I went back to stock and it feels like a completely different car.

The Carerra S wheels (all 4) weigh about 100 lbs versus about 120 lbs for the TechArts.

I would contact a dealer or the manufacturers, decide what size you want, and make an apples-to-apples comparison of what you have, what you want, and what else is out there. Yes, 20 pounds of unsprung weight is significant, but I've seen so many different weights out there, that I would make sure you are comparing same diameters and widths. It may be that the TechArts are 5 pounds heavier apiece per wheel than stock on an apples-to-apples basis, but I would be surprised.

If you're not convinced then don't get them, look for something else instead of regretting getting the TechArts.

Paris if you already have teh stage 4, I dont think the Techart's might affect it at least you gained somehp and not compromising the stock speed/performance of the 997.

If you ever feel its heavy with the EVO S4 package, get a supercharger on top of that.
