What Kind of Power From HEADERS AND CHIP
2 seperate dynos...did another few pulls like 2 or 3 days later..still no gain...cats? thats bs..they advertise headers, intake and chip for 30-40..not throwing away more good money on cats to add nothing again...
i would take it to z fever and see what they come up with. can't hurt to try and dyno it somewhere else. you know pretty much what a base 997S should dyno at, give or take, so this should indicate if you picked up at least a little. can't hurt. it's only like $50 for three runs or something like that.
i've also dyno'd at XAT racing which is right around the corner. they use the smaller drum dynojet, which would probably be fine for your car. from what i've been told the smaller drum gets a little more inaccurate when you get over 400hp. when i ran mine there stock there it was about 272ish and my car was supposed to be 275 from the factory.

I believe him beating the 996tt untill 3rd.. The 997S's are lighter and have better gearing then the 996tt's.. Im pretty sure a 997S with bolts on will pull off similar times at the 1/4 mile as a 996tt pretty easily, the trap speeds will differ a little though. If it were a highway run the 996tt will pull away.
I easily beat a e55 off the launch and from a 1st gar roll i had him all the way untill the end of 3rd. I was completly stock...

ill be surprised if i pick up 2hp

Thanks for all the info guys - I am going keep my car the way it is. I thought about supercharging it, but if I wanted an FI car, I would have bought a 997TT.
I'll save some mod money for my A3 - it responds well to ECU/exhaust/intake. I might even have some money left over to rebuild my DSG...
