Hard to understand why anyone would pay that kid of money. When the TT cab comes out it will be about that much if you are realistic with the options.

It is the powerkit airbox, along with the aluminum intake it leads to.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Why would you need a 3rd radiator for a powerkit when most of the power comes from the headers and airbox?

While looking for an 997-S, a dealer in Miami who sold only exotics - many in the single k's - said; most came from owners from So/Cent Am who were only in Maimi for short periods and simply buy cars like some of us buy clothing. I found a good one in Cleveland but SoFL is a mine full of little used cars with lotsa options.

I bet the hardtop and PCCBs didn't help either.
