Porsche Options?

Hello. I am new to the site and plan to be a new Porsche owner in the next few months. I plan to purchase an 04 or 05 996/997 but wanted to do my research first. Could someone point me towards a good source of information regarding the options for these cars? I've been looking at various listings and it isn't terribly obvious to the uninformed what is what. For example, I plan to track the car and would like it to have an lsd (although never having had a rear engined car before perhaps I'm making much ado about nothing?). Do all PSM equipped cars have LSD or are the two completely unrelated? Do all 40th anniversary cars have LSD? What other options are "must haves" for an enthusiast driver? Other than the obvious styling differences, any major advantage to the 997 over the 996 (keeping in mind an "S" probably exceeds my budget). Any thoughts and helpful references would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Mike

I don't think LSD is an option on non-turbo cars.

Some options for the enthusiast:

1. Sport Chrono
2. Sport Steering Wheel
3. Sport Suspension (if available, only a RoW option)

I would also suggest checking out a 996gt3; it might be up the alley from what your looking for.
