Another great Lucent Motors TechArt Lowering Job

After a few months of debating to go with H&R or TechArt to lower my C4S, I concluded that TechArt was right for me. Much of this decision was influenced by several of you on this forum. I thank you for the input. Most important, this forum led me to Lucent Motors. Arling has always made himself available to answer questions. I really don't think he sleeps. Many nights I would get returned emails in the middle of the night. He has a passion for his work and I really like that about him!

On Friday I took the car in and Tom went to work. He's another guy that does what he does for the love of the job. When you find this kind of combined passion and commitment to excellence in one place you feel like you have arrived in heaven!

Arling, Tom and their staff are top notch. They love their cars (and they really do have nice cars!) and it shows in their work.

I haven't had time to take a lot of photo's because I spent all day yesterday detailing the car and painting the top hats on my rotors. Here's one shot for now of the finished job taken last night in the garage. I'll try and get more photo's taken. This thread was ment to be more about the quality of work vs. the car.

looks great. from all the pics ive seen the techarts do a better job of lowering the car so the front and rear gaps are equal. the cars with the h&r's all appear to make the front lower than the rear.

Thanks Russ! You were helpful in my decision. My car doesn't sit quite as low as yours. Do you think it will settle down a bit more or is it because of the 19" vs. 20" wheels?

funny! i have the same question and the exact same thoughts;

Arling/Tom and mechanics are absolutely the best in the So. Cal area. they have an eye for style and understand customer service. On top of that they have a beautiful shop.

Question: Lucent just installed (upon my request, less than 50 miles since install) Techart Springs on my 2006 997 C2. My car has 19" wheels and definately doesn't sit as low as Russ' car. Is that because of his 20" wheels or is that because of "settlement?" regardless, i am content with my auto and i owe you all some pics!!!

thanks!

thanks Rick & Obie. u guys' cars are beautiful. the car will drop slightly more when the springs settled. also the 20'' wheel will visually make the car looks lower because the thinner tire.

Rick,
the wheel looks fabulous in person. it really fits the car well & u don't get tired of looking at it. good choice!

thanks again.

Looks pretty darn nice, its funny once you drop a Porsche car down, theres no going back to stock height..its such a sexier look, the stock gap is just soo huge and freaky, slowly slowly on bumps, dips and driveways, but well worth it in looks....nice job Lucent

I really meant to say the top hats on the rotor. When I get some time this week I will post the results. Really makes a visual improvement to the wheel area.
