Carrera S Discounts

I am considering ordering a 2007 Carrera S shortly. The car will have a sticker price as optioned of around 92K. What kind of discount can I expect? I know that there has been other threads on this topic, but I know that prices change from time to time and in different regions. I am located in South Florida. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what i have been seeing and reading over here and on rennlist.com i would say 10% is not hard to get off (if you are buying off the lot).

Josh.

3-5% off on the base then 10% off the options - that's what I used as a guide and did slightly better

My buddy just picked up a 997S4 Cab yesterday, sticker $117K, final price $110K. I don't think he even negotiated one bit - not his style. I would think that 8-10% off is a good target to shoot for at this point. Dealers know that people are going to want to wait for the 997S MkII that will be out in a matter of months and they are going to want to cut deals now to keep moving cars. Just tell the dealer that you're considering getting a car now if you can get a deal, but if not you're going to wait and order an '08. That ought to be a good place to start from with the guy.

Might want to wait for the '08, more hp direct port. But, the discounts are only going to get better. A guy I know got an S, 89k list for 81, but it was on the lot with a couple of oddball options.

Isn't that like $7.50 US? Just kidding (and I don't like Z06s...)

I plan to order an 08 sometime next yr. I am hoping to get 7% off an ordered car. That likely will be harder to do if the 'updated cars' do come out as 08 models.

Ordered 07 997S in October, delivered a few weeks ago. $86k list for $78k. $8k off is 9.3% and it wasn't easy finding that deal. In October, I found a few 06 leftovers with much more equipment than I wanted that were as much as 12% off.
