What a tool! I'll bet that guy was was the class bully backin the 3rd grade Props to 6speed, afterreading some posts over there it seems they bicker a lot instead of enjoying the forum/info exchange and passion for great cars.

 

Ill admit...I would think a c6 vette would be pretty DAMN even with a C4s after launch...Those vettes are amazingly quick for 40k...

I agree. I wish that there was a forum that *all* car entusiasts could go to that we could all talk. Unfortunately, we are separated by what we drive. Granted, I have a vette, but I absolutely love Porches. I will probably never get rid of my vette. However, I will have a Porsche (hopefully) soon.

Thats B/S.....Stock E46 M3 cannot beat any C6 unless the driver was so bad he started in the wrong gear. Give me a break.

 

I had a hard time beleiving it also but there were witnesses, all my freinds, even guys that hate M3's and love vettes. The guy in the M3 was a very good driver andthe guy in the C6 i hear was not so good, but even to comapre the 2 is pathetic, all the hype about the C6's are BS.. My other freind with an M3 the other day told me he went up against a C6 ans it was a vry very good race, The guy in the M3 has 3.91 gears, and filter.

 

Listen an E46 M3 is no match for a well-driven C6. As a matter of fact it wouldn't even be close. I'm sure it could happen but the corvette driver has to be beyond terrible. With a good driver a stock C6 is capable of a high 12-second quarter mile. An M3 is not even close.
