Thoughts?? Guy's an idiot. A lighter, more powerful car is faster down the highway, and he drives like a fool to make some kind of victory of it? These are the folks who scare me.

Seems to me the guy is an idiot. Racing a BMW 760il as well I thought that the way he provoked the P-car driver to race was a bit childish. However I did snicker at post #47 in that thread.

The guy is def. an idiot. He wants to run with the C4S who has no interested in challenging him and pushes the guy to make him floor it and he calls it a kill. His actions would have lead to a accident, if not fatal if other cars were around.

Hmm, from his description the driver of the Porsche sounds a lot like you average Corvette driver. This idiot must have been looking at his reflection in the window.

someone should let that idiot know that when they placed a base 997 vs a c6, the 997 won in the 1/4 mile, AND that the C4S coupe has been tested every bit as fast as a C2S in the 1/4, both ran 12.6@112. and someone should let him know his car is a POS.

I had a C5 ZO6, and a C6 Z51, and they were both great cars; fewer squeaks and rattles than my 997S. And a well-driven ZO6 will leave the 997S on a road course. Cars are like dogs, they're all great, it's the owners who suck.

Couldn't have said this better myself. It is obvious that I have a vette, hence the screen name, but I absolutely love and respect Porsches. I have several friends that own them, and they are very well built machines. Driving a Porsche, in my opinion, is a completely different experience than driving a vette. They feel more connected to the road than my vette, and don't get me started on fit and finish. Just so much better than the vette. Just my .02

Check out the username - The Ricker - thats awesome and starts making total sense when you think of a stereotypical Corvette guy.

disclaimer: I like Vettes just fine. If I could afford three cars I would have a Z06 in the stable.

I also use to have a Z06 before i picked up my C2s, but the C5 Z06's were way diff then the C6's, I would walk them easily.

I disagree with you that all cars are great .
Personally, I don't think the Yugo was all that great ( and I could name a lot more )

But of course compared to a 'vette , I can see why YOU think ALL cars are great . Lol

Puff Puff Puff Give, this guy is def smokin something. A C6 Vette a Z06 yes a C6 vette would not pull on a C4S coupe sorry. 5 car lengths haha ok.And that guy was a idiot for tempting someone to race the way he did I would have slammed my brakes on when he was that 1 CAR LENGTH behind me and I would have upgraded my 03 Carrera for a New C4S granted by this lepers insurance company
