Almost all cars nowadays have LEDs, I think its time for Porsche to have em too!

The NEW LED light upgrade should be available to order in the states by MID May (07').

 

see a few posts down.....they are also getting direct injection and the "S" is getting a power bump to at least 370...but I've read other articles that suspect 375-380.

 

can you confirm this? what is your source? i am trying to place my order on 997 c2s and want to make sure i get the LEDs.

I've been told best to hold out & order MY2008.

 

that's what i am gonna do. i almost got a c2s last thursday but decided i needed the LEDs and the 370hp DFI. :-)

 

those aren't the led's.....those are simply a plug-n-play accessory option for the standards red/white tails currently being sold.

the new led's are physically a different size (smaller and non-retrofittable)....and will accompany dual projector adaptive headlights in the front as well as the power increase.

the new 997 won't be out until late summer/early fall....around the time of the frankfurt auto show where it will debut.

 

my dealer said no changes for 2008 997's face lift for 2009

 

So can anyone confirm if the LED taillights, updated headlights, and the power increase is for 2008 Carrera's or 2009 Carrera's?
