It's so easy to go fast on rt3 (the road Brandywine is on), but there are a TON of cops! I don't know how test drives don't get pulled over daily... let alone Tom in his CGT doing fly-bys.

I got 171 in mine. Yesterday, on the track was pegging out fourth on three of the four straights, every lap... which is 118 or so. Just no time to put it in 5th really.

Remember the cost of speed

I am as guilty as others when it comes to speeding, but attached is a reminder about the consequences of going too fast. I omitted the body shots for the family's privacy concerns (and you would not recognize her anyway). It looks like she was on a California toll road when she hit the toll booth.

I remember that wreck, her head was obliterated. So sad she was very beautiful and only 18.

But at 18 driving a 911 and speeding in traffic is asking for trouble.

I'm not an 18-yr old chick and I don't go speeding away in Daddy's Porsche when I'm mad at him...

That's a sad scene, but totally not applicable to this thread.

Whenever there is a conversation about speeding, someone always has to bring up the death factor. I guess I don't get it... I know you raise the "fatality risk" by speeding but I know plenty of people that have died in car accidents at regular speed limits. Do we need to post reminders of what can happen if we drive to work today?

I've seen 180 in a Viper GTS Coupe on the 405S in Mexico... My Pcar hasn't been down to Mexico yet to try it out...

On the track, I regularly maxxed out my Gixxer750 racebike at Willow Springs (regeared to hit top speed down front straight just before final braking point into T1)...

In the US and on public roads, I drive under the speed limit always. :P
