Well T if I had your car in my garage it would have the factory aerokit and the GT3 front vent as well........so that would be one hell of a fun concoction, an x51 aerokit c2s with the GT3 front vent

HA! That is very funny! Seriously!!

That concoction would be stirred, not shaken. I can't even imagine... would simply wait for a GT3 allocation.... like you are....

Besides - I live in Connecticut. I don't think the dealers around here are permitted to sell the aerokit.

Yes I am waiting but I am torn if I want to do the TT route or the GT3 and add the LWFW set up ala GT3 RS.

Anyway you can get the aero kit from any dealer, if your dealer tells you no they are lying to ya

Wait for the 3.

I was kidding. I actually do have some sense of the ridiculous. CT isn't exactly known for the aerokits cruising the backroads of Greenwich and New Canaan.

I have the factory aero kit on my car.. thinking about swaping the GT3 wing for a GT2 wing, putting the GT3 vent up front, putting on Turbo rear quarter panels, and adding some of the X-51 components such *** the headers and the airbox... All this with leaving the carrera S badging on the back.... What does this make me?

Looks great but here is a white gt3 so you can see your vent was installed to low if you were trying to match the factory 10000%

Exactly, my point... I purposely installed it slightly lower so no one thinks i am a "poseur"- not to mention mine looks soooo much better. factory install is too high and not enough differentiation b/w bumper and hood.

The truth of the matter is mods done tastefully on cars add nothing more than esthetic value to a car. Darren, one of the first and nicest porsches i remember first seeing was your silver turbo 10 yrs ago when we both heading back from the hamptons. I started thinking about modding my cars ever since. From my tt that Rave bought to my new "GT3-like " C2 i do it because it looks good and porsche is a very mod-able vehicle. Geez, Darren that silver tt was a beauty, buddy!

Yes that TT was awesome, big mistake selling that one......

Billy you know I am just busting your chops, the car looks really nice I am just a stickler for measurements lining up exact which is why I sent you like 30+ pics to give to Jermome....

Anyway like I said as long as you don't "pose" and throw a GT3 badge on that baby's rear I am a huge, hughe fan of the car.
