Once I talk to Nate I hope it makes sense economically to fly the tech out to Hawaii.

I dunno, but me being in Hawaii MIGHT be a little more incentive for a shop that normally doesn't fly out techs to possibly consider it.

I am all for top notch guys who have had previous experience that would make other techs look like amateurs...

He knows so much its amazing. I've seen him install S/Cer's on 2 different 997S's and they both came out perfect. If I was you I'd take them up on there offer. Its not often you see shops willing to send out techs especially as skilled a tech as RPM has. Russ and the guys ate RPM are real top notch.

I am still looking... I have a client that knows 1 of the 2 Porsche mechanics @ my local dealership, so I am trying to get the lead in from him. It will take a little time though, because I don't want to be pushy about it.

BTW, I went down to the Porsche Dealership the other day, and the service manager was being an a$$. I asked him how much to install the kit, and he first told me my motor would blow up, and if I DID want to install the kit, he told me to load my trunk up with money, and bring my car in. I then asked him again for a price, and he again told me to bring my car in, and he would let me know how much it would cost @ $115.00/hour. He said it was a custom job and implied that I would get reamed out of my mind for the install.

Bottom line, the guy was a snide a$$hole...
